Tub Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 6-15g Moistens the Lungs, stops cough, nourishes Stomach Yin, generates fluids, clears the Heart, eliminates irritability and moistens the Intestines.
Fr. Schisandrae Wu Wei Zi 1.5-9g Astringes leakage of Lung Qi, tonifies Qi, astringes Jing, nourishes Kidney Yin, stops diarrhea, astringes sweat, generates fluids, tonifies the Heart and calms the Spirit.
With Shu Di Huang, Shan Zhu Yu and Shan Yao, for Lung and Kidney Deficiencies with cough and wheezing.
Rx. Rehmanniae Preparata Shu Di Huang 8-30g Tonifies the Kidneys and Nourishes Yin and Blood.
With Shan Yao and Ze Xie, for ascendant Fire due to exhaustion of Kidney Yin.
With Shan Zhu Yu, nourishes Kidney Yin and secures Jing, while restraining urination and sweating.
With Shan Zhu Yu, Mu Dan Pi, Fu Ling and Ze Xie, for Liver and Kidney Yin Deficiencies.
With Shan Zhu Yu, Shan Yao and Ze Xie, for Xiao Ke with predominant polyuria.
Fr. Corni Shan Zhu Yu 4-20g Nourishes Kidney Yin and Yang, astringes Yin and stops perspiration.
With Shan Yao, tonifies Liver and Spleen.
With Wu Wei Zi, for spermatorrhea, abnormal sweating, palpitations and shortness of breath due to Yin and Yang Deficiencies of the Liver and Kidneys.
Rz. Dioscoreae Shan Yao 4-15g Strengthens the Spleen, stabilizes the Kidneys and nourishes Jing.
With Shu Di Huang and Shan Zhu Yu, for Kidney Deficiency with spermatorrhea, dizziness, tinnitus, lower back pain, impotence and night sweats.
With Wu Wei Zi and Mai Men Dong, for Lung Deficiency with cough.
Poria Fu Ling 3-15g Strengthens the Spleen and drains Dampness.
Cx. Moutan Mu Dan Pi 3-15g Clears Heat and Deficiency Fire.
Rz. Alismatis Ze Xie 3-15g Promotes urination and prevents Kidney Fire as a result of tonification.
With Fu Ling and Mu Dan Pi, regulates the Kidneys, Liver and Spleen, drains and tonifies.
With Fu Ling, promotes urination.
With Mu Dan Pi, for steaming bone disorder, dizziness, and vertigo.

  • Use caution for those with Spleen Deficiency type diarrhea and indigestion
  • Contraindicated for those with Yang Deficiency with a white greasy tongue coat.
